OCTOBER 2023 MEETING MINUTES
The Pony Creek Homeowners Association Board met at the Community Building on October 10th, 2023. The meeting was called to order at 6:33 pm. Board Members present included: Verlin Phelps, President, Tim Gibbs, Vice President Board Members: Barb Simmons, Randy Greenwood, Mike Bogenreif and Tristan Nolan. Other Homeowners present: Sandy Parson. Suzanne Wick – Absent
Suzanne Wick emailed copies of the September 2023 Monthly Treasurer report and the September 2023 Meeting Minutes to the Board members prior to the meeting. Hard copies of the reports were available at the meeting. Mike made a motion to accept the September minutes as submitted. Seconded by Tristan. All approved.
Treasurer Report: Motion made by Tristan to accept the September Treasurer Report as submitted. Seconded by Tim. All approved. Monthly Report Bank Statement balance October 1 st , 2023, $ 4,487.46
Balance in the Checking account = $ 2,122.35 as of November 2nd, 2023. Expenses paid during October included: Water Testing, water permit fees, Road Grading, Heimes – rock, Tractor payment, Fred’s Trash and Mid-American Energy. Motion was made by Mike to turn over to the attorney the collection efforts on a homeowner who has not paid monthly dues. Seconded by Tim. All approved.
Water Report: New cl3 scales needed. Scales ordered this month. Water Permit fees for 2024 have been renewed. Manganese test is completed. A new round of Manganese notices will be coming out.
Road Report: Rock will be ordered and stock piled for future use. Motion made by Tim to purchase a new tire for the tractor. Seconded by Randy. All approved.
Park: One final payment of $500.00 remains for the Mowing contract for the park.
Old Business: General meeting was held October 15th ,2023. Qurom was set and achieved. Elections were held. Minutes for the meeting were done separately and will be posted on the website and available by hard copy once accepted by the Board.
New Business: New lights are needed for the Community Building. A motion was made by Tim to purchase 2 Bay lights along with necessary wiring and connectors. Seconded by Tristan. All approved.
Motion was made by Randy to purchase LED’s to be installed by November 13th, 2023 at a cost not to exceed $ 50.00. Seconded by Tim. All approved.
Tim made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Mike seconded. All Approved.
Next Board meeting to be November 14th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Building.
