FEBRUARY 2022 MEETING MINUTERS
The Pony Creek Homeowners Association Board met at the home of Tim Gibbs on February 15th, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:31pm. Board Members present included: Verlin Phelps, President, Tim Gibbs, Vice President, Suzanne Wick, Treasurer, Board Members: Randy Greenwood and Mike Bogenreif.
Suzanne Wick emailed copies of the January 2022 Monthly Treasurer report and the January 2022 Meeting Minutes prior to the meeting. Hard copies were also available at the meeting. A motion was made by Mike to accept the minutes as submitted. Tim Seconded. All approved.
Treasurer Report: Motion made by Tim to accept the Treasurer Report as submitted. Seconded by Randy. All approved.
Monthly Report Bank Statement balance February 1st, 2022, $ 5,429.47
Balance in the Checking account = $ 3,205.07 as of March 5th, 2022. Expenses paid during February included, Water Testing, reimbursement for Verlin’s time regarding Legal Issues, payment to Smith Petersen Law Firm, Fred’s Trash, Locke well (Pumps), AWWA (water class). Tractor payment and Mid-American Energy.
Verlin met with attorney regarding the case PCHA VS PERIAN. The Board has decided to Appeal the initial ruling and will be going to District Court on February 28th. A follow up report will be given at the March meeting.
Water Report: Same as January’s report. Notices were posted and sent out regarding the Manganese levels in our samples.
Road Report: We are holding off on bringing in any rock at this time. It has been too dry to be able to grade.
Park: Old Business - We will be taking new bids in the Spring for mowing and weed eating at the park, Bus Shed and Community Building.
Old Business: Lot 1 would like the Board to get his fence repaired, which was damaged during snow removal operations.
New Business: A PCHA Website was discussed. Tim made a motion to pay the monthly fee of $ 25 for the Web Domain and have Tristan work on getting the website up and running. Seconded by Randy. All Approved.
Randy has volunteered to work on a PCHA Facebook page that has been set up by Tim Vipond.
A packet will be sent out to all Homeowners regarding updates to the By Laws and the upcoming elections that will be held in May.
Tim made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:28 p.m. Mike seconded. All Approved.
